- Scope freeze — genuinely frozen. The single most common cause of overruns is scope that keeps growing until the eve of the shutdown. Disciplined programs challenge every line item ("can this be done with the plant running?"), then freeze, then defend the freeze.
- Materials verified, not assumed. Every spool, valve, gasket set and instrument on site, inspected, and staged in shutdown sequence. In this market, where replacement lead times can be long, material readiness is the difference between a 15-day and a 25-day outage.
- Prefabrication to the physical limit. Everything that can be welded, assembled, tested or dressed in workshop before the stop, is. Our fabrication shops exist to strip hot work and fit-up hours out of the critical window.
